Marc Daniels are working with a household name automotive company’s financial services entity based in Bracknell in their recruitment for an interim Compliance Manager do help them deal with FCA regulations and changes for an initial 3-month period very likely to be extended.

This role will require candidates who have a strong grasp on monitoring and risk management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Risk and Compliance department in ensuring that they meet its legal and regulatory obligations.
• Conducting thorough thematic reviews from a second line approach in key business areas such as complaints, affordability and creditworthiness assessments, vulnerable customers and user access and producing in depth reports on findings and recommended next steps.
• Shared responsibility for risk management activity.
• Assisting with Risk Management, ensuring internal systems and assessments are frequently updated.
• Supporting the business with Risk Management queries.
• Horizon scanning to identify regulatory announcements and upcoming changes and writing briefing notes covering key regulatory updates and announcements for senior management.
• Conducting monthly transactional monitoring of key operational areas, for example, Data Subject Access Requests, breaches and financial promotions.

Requirements:

• Have worked in a regulated financial services firm.
• Has the ability to understand and interpret legislation and regulation.
• Has experience conducting second line monitoring, both transactional and thematic.
• Has experience producing management information.
