Responsibilities:
- Preparing the quarterly Group intercompany matrix and resolving difference with assistance of the GFM
- Maintaining and updating the Group intercompany policy together with the Group compliance manager
- Responsible for the accounting of the two group Topco companies and preparing the month-end close procedures for these entities
- Preparing and presenting the month-end results for the Topco entities
- Owning the preparation of financial statements for subsidiary standalone entities and at a Group level, with assistance of the GFM
- Supporting the business leads in the implementation of new ESG reporting requirements
- Preparing the UK Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (‘CFD’) for the Group financial statements
- Providing support to the GFM on the audit by maintaining PBC lists, responding to information requests by the auditors and assisting to draft technical papers for the audit
- Assisting in preparation of the year end and quarter end Group consolidations
- Supporting the Treasury GFM in producing weekly cash flow forecasts and setting up payments runs
- Provide technical expertise, being able to understand, explain and calculate responses to queries raised by stakeholders across the business
- Frequent interaction and advisory role with international finance teams mainly based in the UK, North America, India and Australia
- Supporting in improving current processes and outputs to establish a best-in-class finance team
- Ad hoc finance tasks such as shareholder information requests, analysis and others
Requirements:
- ACA Qualified from Top 10 accountancy firm.
- Experience (audit or other) in Media/Tech industry would be a bonus
