We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a leading, FTSE Listed organisation in their European Head office in Reading.

As the Senior Finance Analyst you will support the Financial Controller in analysing the company’s performance against plans, working closely with the department’s senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse financial data and create financial models
• Financial forecasting and reporting
• Analyse results, perform variance analysis and make recommendations for improvements
• Margin analysis by monitoring cost price movements and cost price deviations
• Build and develop new reports as required
• Evaluate financial performance, analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Work closely with the accounting team to prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
• Business partnering with senior management
• Support internal audit controls

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Financial Analysis experience
• Must be able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience creating financial models
• Comfortable dealing with high volume of data.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
