A great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Associate has arisen to join a company based in Maidenhead on a 6 month fixed term contract basis in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process insurance accounting transactions which may include processing inbound receipts relating to premium and loss recoveries and outbound payments for Loss Adjustment Expenses
- Pay cycles
- Maintaining and updating the vendor database
- Dealing with internal and external queries
- Scanning documents to OnBase
- Processing journals
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven accounting experience (ideally within a multinational environment)
- Good working knowledge of both accounts receivable and account payable modules.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
- A proactive and diligent approach to all tasks with a keen eye for detail
- Work collaboratively within the finance function and across the organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all levels
- Reliable and flexible, able to work as part of team but also deliver on own objectives.
- Excellent PC skills and good knowledge of Excel
- Experience of PeopleSoft Financials/Oracle/GBS and OnBase is an advantage
- Experience of working for an insurance company desirable but not essential
