Marc Daniels are recruiting for a remote-working Credit Control Assistant to join a multinational company based in London.

This role offers the opportunity to work entirely remotely.

If you are looking to take the first step into a Credit Control role or have some experience in Credit Control; this role would be perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking a proactive approach in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
  • Setting up the terms of credit for new clients.
  • Negotiating payment plans.
  • Managing the collection of all payments and debts.
  • Responding to client inquiries.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Preparing statements and reports for the commercial accountant.
  • Managing the sales ledger.
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team.
  • Assisting senior staff with ad hoc projects as they arise

Requirements:

  • Experience using Xero would be benificial
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good telephone manner
  • High standard of numeracy and accuracy
  • Computer Literate- Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritise workload so that deadlines are met.
  • Previous experience in a Credit Control environment would be preferable, though suitable training will be provided to the right applicant.
