We are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a leading FMCG business, supporting the UK and European finance team. This role is ideal for a part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant who wants strong exposure to monthly financial accounting, reporting and analysis in a fast‑paced environment.

What you will do:

• Run monthly financial accounting processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and other month‑end adjustments.

• Prepare monthly P&L and balance sheet reports for UK and European entities.

• Perform monthly variance analysis versus budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting risks and opportunities.

• Support monthly group reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of results and key KPIs.

• Assist with quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting, providing clear, simple analysis for stakeholders.

• Work with the Shared Service Centre to resolve accounting queries and improve end‑to‑end processes.

• Help with audit requirements by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.

What we are looking for:

• Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW or similar).

• Experience in a finance, accounting or analyst role, with exposure to month‑end and management reporting.

• Good Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.

• Strong attention to detail and able to work to tight month‑end deadlines.

• Clear communicator, comfortable working with both finance and non‑finance teams.
