Marc Daniels are working with a company based in West London to recruit a Finance Systems Analyst focused on driving finance systems and process transformation. This broad role sits between Finance and IT, helping modernise how the finance team uses systems and data.

The role:

• Support and maintain the core finance systems (e.g AP AR, GL and reporting) and act as a go‑to person for system issues and user queries.
• Review current finance processes and systems, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and standardise ways of working.
• Work with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into system or process changes.
• Assist with system changes, upgrades and new functionality, including testing and training users.
• Help design and improve reports and dashboards to give finance and the business better insight and visibility.

About you:

• Experience working with a finance system in a finance, systems or analyst role, ideally with some exposure to change or improvement projects.
• Confident with ERP or Finance Systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics etc)
• Good understanding of core finance processes and how systems support them.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Confident communicator, able to work with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders and explain changes clearly.
• Strong Excel skills; any experience with reporting / BI tools or process automation is a plus.
