We are presently seeking an interim Management Accountant to join the finance department of a well-known company based in High Wycombe for a 3 month period. The purpose of this role is support the Finance Director in a reconciliation project leasing to the production of the set of accounts for business:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compiling and reviewing data from multiple sources
  • Investigating current accounting in relation to that data
  • Ensure the day to day management and reporting
  • Performing reconciliation of the accounting system and the bank account
  • Preparing monthly prepayments, accruals, journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Providing flash forecasts, deliver the month end P&L, providing meaningful variance analysis to budget, forecast and last year
  • Use Excel to provide insightful reports/dashboards to assist in analysis and decision making to the business

To be considered:

  • Fully qualified able to hit the ground running and make a positive impact early on
  • Possess the ability to produce a full set of accounts
  • Strong Excel, numerical and analytical skills
  • Experience in use of various accounting systems
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
